There’s only one thing better than watching four of the world’s finest compete on a tough pinball table. That thing? Having an underdog. Let’s face it, if the title character of Rudy was played by the Rock instead of Samwise Gamgee no one would have cared when the players started laying their jersies down on the coach’s desk.
The underdog in this case? Andrei Massenkoff. And when we say underdog, we don’t mean because of any lack of pinball skills, but going into the third game of this years PAPA finals Andrei was ranked 3rd behind the tied play of Josh Sharpe and Cayle George. To win the trophy and the $10,000 top prize, he’d have to win it all. Anything below first place and either Josh or Cayle would be this year’s PAPA champion.
So with the luck of the draw on the 3rd game, Andrei picked the ball-busting F-14 Tomcat as his final table. The outcome? We’ll let Bowen Kerins and Todd tell you the rest…
